Dearest Friends and Family,

Angela Canade has passed away. Angela was a staunch supporter of the Guild and was one of our most vocal and visible advocates. At the request of Angela’s family, we have set up a Memorial Fund in Angela Canade’s name to benefit the Guild for Exceptional Children, The Guild is a Non-Profit Organization that reaches out to people with developmental disabilities and their families and has provided service and support for more than 50 years. The mission of The Guild is to help each individual reach his or her maximum potential; and to help families cope with the responsibility of caring for a developmentally disabled family member at home. To achieve this goal, a dedicated, well qualified and caring staff provide clinical, therapeutic, educational, social, residential, recreational and support services designed to stimulate the development of the whole person, fostering self-esteem and pride in accomplishment.
