On October 29th, GEC marked its 65th Anniversary in style at Gargiulo's Restaurant. Over 300 people attended the event celebrating the wonderful work done at GEC every day. This year's honorees were The Honorable Matthew D'Emic and the managers from each of GEC's residences: Francine Boyle, John Downey, Veronica Iqbal, Anthony Martinez, Siobhan Masterson, Concetta Musolino, Stephen Neave, Ellen Paternostro, Ruthlyn Solomon, Maryann Sullivan, Elizabeth Tiedemann, Despina Xenakis, and Jessica Young.
In addition to the lovely cocktail hour and delicious meal, guests enjoyed hearing some heartfelt words from the honorees and GEC's CEO, Joe Riley. Music, dancing, and many enticing raffles rounded out the festivities.
