Night Out Against Crime

Night Out Against Crime

On August 1, GEC participated in the 68th Precinct’s Night Out Against Crime, where the community was welcomed with food, music, giveaways, and safety demonstrations. GEC residents Nicky, Jennifer, and James and staff Agnes Sliwa and Corey Katinas were among the attendees who had a great time listening to the music and meeting up with friends.

Santangelo Residents Mary, Rudy, Paul, Joe, and Christine and Assistant Manager, Sandra Rivera hosted a table to welcome the Bay Ridge community and let them know more about GEC. Christine, Valerie and GEC’s Assistant Director of Residential Services, Susan Sahm were lucky to meet Officer De La Cruz from the NYC Counterterrorism K-9 unit and his adorable canine companion who keep our city safe. Conklin residents Kathleen, Dana and Joanne also loved meeting up with their neighbors on the night out. It was a great chance to meet many of the police officers from the local precinct and our Bay Ridge community, while enjoying the beautiful summer evening.
