“Where exceptional learning begins”

GEC offers a free, full-day Pre-K for All program for 4 year olds.  GEC provides a dually certified Early Childhood Education/Special Education NYS teacher in each classroom. GEC’s Pre-K for All program runs five days per week from September to June. We offer a full-day schedule. Children are provided with breakfast and lunch daily.  We offer an on-site playground.  Strong practices are in place that support English Language Learners.

In GEC’s program, children are in a safe learning environment with opportunities to explore, create, and participate in engaging learning activities and to interact with other children and teaching staff. GEC builds on the strengths and diverse backgrounds of children and families. We have bilingual teaching and support staff on-site who speak English, Chinese, Spanish, Polish and Arabic. GEC is a proud Pre-K for All partner with the DOE.  On-site support staff includes: a registered nurse, bilingual Spanish speaking social worker, and a bilingual Chinese speaking social worker.

GEC supports all learners in building strong foundations for success in school and beyond.
