The Christian J Santo Legacy Foundation had their annual Winter Wonderland neighborhood celebration ion 12/6/25, much to the delight of the Bay Ridge community. Along with food trucks, games, music, loads of holiday decorations and lights, and a visit from Santa, the GEC carolers were invited to perform for the crowd of hundreds of community members. The event was a huge success and really touched the hearts of people hoping for a little holiday cheer. The Christian J Santo Legacy Foundation is a noted philanthropic family run foundation that supports worthy causes; among them GEC! The Foundation presented a $5,000 donation for GEC at the event, to help our preschool, which supports young children with special needs, purchase some much needed therapeutic equipment, used to help children with physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Earlier this year, the Foundation presented GEC with $25,000 to enable us construct a wheelchair accessible ramp at one of our facilities to help some of the individuals we support with ambulation difficulties, have better and safer access to their home.
