GEC Saddles Up for a Western Themed Hoedown

In the words of Dale Evans:
Cowgirl (also cowboy) is an attitude, really; a pioneer spirit, a special American brand of courage. The cowgirl (also cowboy) faces life head-on, lives by their own lights and makes no excuses. This sounds like some people we all know!

Over 200 Cowfolk enjoyed a fun filled, good old, western themed time on June 25th at Gargiulo’s. GEC program participants, residents, staff and family members saddled up, wore their country finest and had a blast dancing the night away. What a night taking themed photos with our friends, celebrating the beginning of summer, and enjoying great food and an ice cream bar. Everyone was offered a hat and everyone left with some fun mementos. It was a whoopin’ and hollerin’ good time!

Special thanks to Michelle Kneeter, Henry Wong and GEC staff who worked very hard to make sure everyone had an old fashioned fun time! The smiles say it all.
