The GEC family came together to celebrate Densingh’s retirement on June 6th. Amazingly, all those involved were able to keep the surprise under wraps, evident by the shocked look on Densingh’s face when the group that was gathered yelled, “Surprise!” The accounting team, Board of Directors, members of the staff and administration enjoyed honoring and roasting our dear friend and colleague. In the words of GEC President Anthony Cetta, “Densingh’s exceptional leadership, unwavering dedication, and strategic vision have not only guided us through turbulent Covid economic times but have also positioned us for long-term success”.
Densingh’s smile and steady unflustered manner will not soon be forgotten. He will be enjoying his next chapter with plans to keep involved in his community, hone new skills and travel with his wife and family. First stop Italy, then many other European countries and on to his home town in India where he will see many of his extended family members. Safe travels Densingh and we know we will see you when you are back in New York!
