GEC residents and staff had a great time participating in Bay Ridge’s Night Out Against Crime on August 8th. It was a night to celebrate and thank members of the 68th Precinct who keep our neighborhood safe for all people, including the residents of GEC’s group homes as well as the people who attend the agency’s five day programs in Bay Ridge, all of whom rely on the 68th Precinct in times of need. The group from GEC enjoyed talking with neighbors who stopped at the table, loved listening to the Radio Daze concert, as well as enjoyed the performances of students from School of Rock. It was a wonderful summer evening and everyone seemed to be reveling in such a lovely community gathering and the opportunity to get to know one another a bit better.
