The entire GEC community came together at Gargiulo’s Restaurant in Coney Island on June 25th to kick off the summer in style with a dinner-dance, Fiesta style. The adults we support in our residential and day habilitation programs, along with staff and family members, came dressed up and ready to party! DJ Tom Hoeful provided constant fun and music for dancing and the Hoeful family donated a special ice cream sundae station as an added treat.
This was not a fundraiser, but rather a heartfelt sharing of happiness and love for each other. The room was filled with positive energy and everyone had a great time! Special thanks go out to Day Habilitation Program Support Specialist Michelle Kneeter and Recreation Program Coordinator Henry Wong for all their efforts in planning such a fun evening for everyone, as well as the staff who assisted.
