Congratulations to Nancy O'Callaghan on receiving GEC's Outstanding Achievement Award for January. Due to weather, Nancy's award ceremony was delayed until recently, but that allowed for a more exciting and well attended surprise. Nancy is an Assistant Hab Specialist at the Fischetti Program but has been employed at GEC for 35 years. She is reliable and a trusted staff member whose strong work ethic, dedication and positive spirit sets the standard for excellence at GEC. Nancy demonstrates proactive communication, offers support, and anticipates the needs of the individuals before they arise. Her dedication to the individuals we serve is evident through her thoughtful approach to fostering independence, building confidence, and encouraging self-advocacy.
Nancy's compassionate nature, patience, and understanding responsiveness reflect her genuine commitment to our mission. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that the individuals receive the highest quality of care and support.
