The Bars of 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge hosted a fundraiser for GEC on 3/23. It has become an annual event known as the “Bunny Hop” because it occurs near Easter on the calendar. Participants paid a $20 fee, received a t-shirt and bunny ears and “hopped” from bar to bar in the spirit of charity and good will. A raffle was also held and proceeds were donated to GEC.
Eight bars participated including the Knights of Columbus, Mussels and More, Skinflints, Johnny Pumps, Bean Post, Schnitzel Haus, the Leif. PC Bar was also a participating bar and its owners, Craig and Pam Pazarecki, were the event organizers. Thanks to them for this amazing event. A great time was had by all!
