Longtime Residence Manager, Maryann Sullivan Retires

Maryann Sullivan retired from her position as manager of the Charter Residence at the beginning of 2024. Maryann has been part of the GEC family for the past twenty-nine years and will be greatly missed as she moves on to the next adventures in her life. Maryann, who approached her work with love and dedication, said her years at the Guild have been filled with some of the greatest triumphs and hardest challenges. Walking into the Charter Residence, under Maryann’s leadership, always felt like walking into a large, loving, and loud family. There was never a doubt that each individual directed their own life and felt fulfilled in the choices they made for themselves.

Her enthusiasm for GEC has caused many members of her family, including her wife, mother, brother, nieces, and nephews to work at GEC in a variety of roles; her daughter Grace has been a favorite visitor since she was a baby. Very few people in life are irreplaceable, but Maryann Sullivan sure comes close. Her vitality of spirit, her brutal honesty, impeccable work ethic, and her strong sense of advocacy and fairness will not be forgotten.
